Ines de Poligny, is a contemporary fine artist and historian, based in Milano. Italy. She embarked on her artistic career with exhibitions in the United States, where she began developing her distinctive artistic language, before continuing her professional trajectory across Europe. Having lived in England for over a decade, she developed an international perspective that has informed her artistical practise.

Her work explores possible futures of contemporary society, navigating the shifting territory between reality and myth. Through speculative narratives, she investigates themes such as genetic editing, hyper connectivity, biotechnology, and cloning, reflecting on how these forces reshape our identities, relationships, and the world we inhabit. Her practice seeks to reveal the tensions, promises, and contradictions that emerge when technological progress intersects with human imagination.

As a professional, she has exhibited across Europe, in venues such as the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Spain, as well as in biennials and art fairs in Italy and internationally, receiving several awards worldwide.
